A small round-up
resin bracelets, linen sheets, the best French household soap, a gardening bag and a few things to read
I find these so pleasing. When I was very little and in the equivalent of Reception, one day the teacher brought out a box of these big, rounded, weighty plastic shapes in primary colours. They made a muffled ‘thock’ sound when they clacked together. I was absolutely desperate to go and feel them and play with them, but I was too shy. Isn’t it funny what you remember? Also, it was winter and raining outside, I was wearing a blue plasticky apron thing with sleeves and pockets, and a boy called Eric Snell, whom I loved, did a wee in his pants.
Anyway: these resin bracelets have the same sort of ultra-tactile vibe as the beloved shapes. They’re from Zara, £17.99 for the trio. Such good colours, too.
