How I do Substack

probably not that helpful, in all honesty

Today yet another person got in touch saying they wanted to start a Substack but had no idea how it worked, and how did I go about writing mine? This was the 7th time I’ve been asked in recent weeks, so to save myself time I’ve now cut and pasted all my so-called advice into a pdf. Then occurred to me that it might conceivably be useful to some of you too, so here it is.

Please note, it is emphatically NOT 'how I went from 0 to 10 squillion subscribers and how you can too'. In fact I'm not sure that it's actually helpful at all because I didn’t come in as a novice. But it IS how I do things and does contain some advice, so have a read if you’re curious about that.
