The first lambs! (updated Sat 30th)
The lambs have started arriving. There are four so far, two pairs of twins. One of the twins was looking a bit peaky last night - fluid in the lungs from being born - but is much more chipper this morning. Another 17 ewes are in the lambing area, which is being monitored from all angles by our dog Brodie (wheaten terrier). They have a blue or red mark on them depending on whether they are having one lamb or two.
