Good morning! Last night I dreamt about dogs going up and down a garden high up in tiny individual red cable cars. The cable cars were open-topped and the dogs sat in them with their ears rippling in the breeze. There were loads of dogs busily travelling, looking very cheerful. Excellent dream.
It was such lovely weather here on Wednesday that I wore a t-shirt, ordered a new small garden sofa, and then decided that what I really needed were these really nice soft loafers, to wear without socks and with an exposed ankle, like a certain kind of European man (slicked-back hair, insistent aftershave, friend with a yacht). On Thursday I was back in my trusty Uniqlo cashmere and big socks. Still, it was a glimpse of what’s to come, and I’m excited about the sofa.
But - that is not all I’m excited about. ‘Excited’ hardly covers it - I am BURSTING.
