What I thought about in the dentist's chair

I’m back! Having multiple dental implants isn’t a giant laugh but nor is it the absolute horror I’d imagined. I considered a selfie to illustrate this post because my face is so swollen that it is actually sort of amazing. You know how some cartoon animals are drawn so that the upper half of their face is normal and the bottom half is dramatically rounder and wider? Exactly like that. I find myself quite endearing to look at, apart from the bruising.
