Good morning! No food column today because it’s August and I’m having a few days off.
In case you’re interested, there is an interview with me in today’s edition of Willow Crossley’s lovely newsletter, The Seedling. I’m a huge fan of hers, so I was particularly delighted to be asked to do it.
Also! If you like book recommendations, I am in the (lengthy) process of putting all of mine on my bookshop.org page, which is here. I will be adding new and old favourites every week.
PS I’m so sad that the Olympics are ending. The closing ceremony is tonight from 7pm UK time. Did you see gold medallist Kauli Vaast surfing down the Seine?
You can read all of my previous food pieces here, for free. They appear fortnightly and alternate with my fortnightly picture posts, which you can find here and which are also free. For everything else, you need a paid subscription. Thank you for stopping by and have a magnificent Sunday. Normally I’d ask you to kindly ❤️ this post, but I appreciate it’s THIN PICKINGS today. Back next week!
Have a lovely break, India.
Thanks for the book recommendations. I think you might enjoy Alis Hawkins’ crime novels. The Skeleton Army is her latest (and best I think!).
